UC ANR will be making additional travel support available for UC Cooperative Extension specialists to collaborate directly with CE advisors or research and extension center directors in FY 2023/24. With the level of funds available, each specialist may apply for up to $2,000 for FY 2023/24 (travel reports must be submitted within 30 days of travel, and funds must be expended by June 30, 2024). These travel funds must be used by the CE specialists only and cannot be used for out-of-state travel. Funding IS NOT for the purpose of presenting at or attending meetings.

Professional society meeting reimbursement requests for academics are being accepted for travel occurring July 1 through Dec. 31, 2021.
Deadline for online submission is Monday, Sept. 6, at 5:00 p.m. (Requests will be accepted electronically only, no exceptions)
The Academic Assembly Council (AAC) travel awards support travel to professional society meetings, primarily for the reporting and exchange of knowledge among members. Cooperative Extension academics are eligible for one meeting approval per fiscal year (July 1 – June 30). To support the health and well-being of UC students, faculty and staff and our communities, the University of California, in consultation with UC Health leadership, issued a systemwide executive order requiring all members of the UC community to receive an influenza immunization before Nov. 1, 2020.
